About Lola
Lola is a small Chihuahua looking for a foster or foster-to-adopt home within 80 miles of Adams, NY. She grew up alongside other dogs, savvy cats, and older kids, so she’s likely to settle in with animal- and child-friendly homes. Lola and her sister Gigi arrived after their owner’s health declined, and now they’re seeking quieter environments where they can get comfortable, relax, and experience a bit of the outdoors they missed in their old home. Both dogs were pee pad trained and haven’t had much experience with walks or outdoor play, so they’ll need an adopter ready to start gentle training, encourage exploration, and be patient while they gain confidence. Potential homes should have current pets up to date on veterinary care and vaccinations, and be willing to take Lola to the rescue’s vet in Adams when needed before adoption is finalized. Families with children over 10 are welcome as long as everyone can meet Lola first. She is current on vaccines and will be spayed soon. There’s an adoption donation of $450, but fostering is free. Interested homes should have time to help Lola settle in and start her training journey. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
