Life hasn’t been easy—rescued from the streets, she has been living in boarding, often chained in a small kennel simply because she wants so badly to move and be near people. Sturdy and strong, Letty is at her best as the only dog in a quiet home with a secure fenced yard. She bonds deeply with her person and craves affection, warmth, and companionship. Even the kids at the sanctuary can walk her—she’s gentle and responsive, as long as she’s not sharing space with other animals. Letty would thrive with someone home most of the time, or who works remotely and enjoys plenty of walks and active play. She shines in calm, dog-free environments where she can finally unwind.
