Chesapeake VA Nadine, a five-year-old bullmastiff, is calm, confident, and deeply loyal to her human companions - 115 lb. of pure love. While she is generally well-behaved and content, she possesses a strong prey drive and has exhibited resource guarding tendencies in the presence of other dogs. Cats are unknown, but her penchant for chasing rabbits, squirrels, even leaves blowing in the street leads us to believe it would not be wise. That said, it is recommended she be placed in a home without other pets or small children. Nadine is housebroken, crate-trained, up to date on all vaccinations, and walks nicely on a leash. However, due to her size and strength, prior experience with large guarding breeds would be advantageous.
