About Scooby. Ca

Click apply and let the tail-wagging begin! Meet Scooby, an affectionate Bullmastiff in Northern California who’s looking for a devoted, dog-savvy adopter. Approximately one year old and weighing around 95 to 100 pounds, Scooby may still fill out a bit more as he grows. He’s a lovable lap dog at heart and would thrive in a home as the only pet, perfect for someone who wants their canine companion close by at all times. Scooby can be a true "Velcro dog"—he loves attention and has a constantly wagging tail. He does experience some separation anxiety, so a consistent routine and lots of company are ideal. Scooby delights in fetching, playing, and running around a large, fenced yard. He is very smart, eager to please, and food motivated, making him easy to train. Though Scooby was kept outdoors and missed out on early socialization and training, he is now house trained, neutered, and up to date on vaccinations, ready for new adventures with you. Scooby responds best to experienced handlers familiar with large breeds or Bullmastiffs and would benefit from a focused socialization training program. He also loves raw bones in his crate and enjoys working for treats. Older children or an adult-only home would be a great fit for this gentle giant. Give Scooby the attention and structure he loves, and he’ll reward you with unwavering loyalty. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
