Meet Phoebe and Rachel, two incredibly resilient sisters who found themselves in a heart-wrenching situation. 💔 Left outside of a PetSmart in a box during one of the coldest days of March 2019, these little beauties were only 5 weeks old. Thankfully, they were saved by Peggy's animal rescue, and for years, they brought joy to their loving family. But recently, life took a difficult turn. When their father faced a health crisis and had to go to the hospital, the girls were surrendered to animal control. Can you even imagine the terror they felt during that 5-day holding period? 😢 They waited anxiously, missing the warmth of the home they knew, wondering if someone would come to save them. Now at 6 years old and weighing a petite 10 pounds, Phoebe and Rachel would make the perfect companions for an older couple seeking joy and companionship. 🧡 They adore going for rides, soaking up the sun with the windows down, and feeling the wind in their fur. Phoebe, especially, is a total sweetheart who loves being a perfect lap dog, craving all the attention and snuggles she can get! 🌟 While it would be ideal for them to stay together, the rescue is open to considering separating them if necessary.
