About Rachel

They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now! Phoebe and Rachel’s journey began on a frigid day in March 2019 when, as tiny 5-week-old pups, they were left outside of a PetSmart in a box. Thanks to a quick response from a rescue, they were given a loving home. Recently, an unexpected family emergency meant these sweet souls found themselves scared in Animal Control, waiting for a familiar face that never came. Rachel is now a gentle, 6-year-old Chihuahua who weighs 10 pounds and delights in car rides. She would be an ideal companion for an older couple seeking loyal dogs, although separating her from Phoebe is an option if needed. Rachel’s resilience and affectionate nature shine through despite her challenging past, and she’s ready to find a new family to offer her comfort and security. Don’t miss your chance to meet Rachel—she is sure to bless your life with companionship and love. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
