As an adult and petite for her breed, Maggie is well-suited for families looking for a loving companion. She is spayed, fully vaccinated, and currently resides at BAARK Dog Rescue. Maggie is selective with both children and dogs, making her an excellent choice for calm households, ideally those with older children or a relaxed dog companion.
About Maggie
What are you waiting for? Apply today! Maggie is an adorable White Labrador Retriever who is around 4 years old and is on the smaller side for her breed at just 35 pounds. This petite girl is wonderfully affectionate and loves spending time with people, making her an ideal companion for someone seeking a loving presence in their life. She gets along with dogs, though she can be selective—she prefers calm canine companions and doesn’t enjoy overly energetic dogs or small children who might not know how to interact respectfully. Maggie would be happiest in a calm home, ideally with older children or teenagers who understand how to treat dogs with kindness. Because of her high prey drive, cats wouldn’t be a good fit for her environment. A home with a secure, fenced yard would be perfect for Maggie, giving her space to run, explore, and soak up the sunshine. She is fully vetted, up to date on vaccinations, spayed, microchipped, heartworm tested, and kept on year-round heartworm prevention. Maggie would do well as an only dog or with a calm, older canine friend. Rescue is local to the Chicago area and placements are only made to nearby homes. They are waiting with paws crossed!
