About Emery

Emery is a resilient young dog who made her way here from the streets of Border Town, Texas, along with her four siblings. Though she's a little shy initially, she warms up quickly to those she trusts. With a medium-length coat and a mix of Jack Russell Terrier and Labrador Retriever traits, she weighs about 45 lbs and won’t grow any larger. While she hasn't had much exposure to children, this has made her a bit wary, so she'd do best in a home with older kids and a securely fenced yard. Emery thrives in a mature, energetic household. She’s smart and eager to learn, plus she loves water and enjoys zoomies around the yard. She's friendly with confident dogs but can be a bit bossy with those less assertive. Emery has shown she can coexist well with a bold cat too. She currently stays within a 4-foot privacy fence with no issues and is ready for a great companion in your home. Consider giving Emery a forever home. She could truly be an amazing friend to someone looking for loyal company. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
