Teeny
AvailableTeeny is a small, white and cream terrier/Chihuahua mix living in Phoenix, AZ. She has a medium-length coat that needs the occasional trim. Teeny is a young, spayed female and fully house-trained. Vaccinations are up to date. She has special dietary needs due to poultry allergies and requires daily allergy medication.
About Teeny
Teeny starts out shy but, once she trusts you, she turns into a real lover and a bit of a shadow. She craves affection—expect her to curl up with you for naps, crowd you on the couch, or nudge in for a belly rub. She’ll happily be your lap dog, and she always prefers to be close. Teeny loves car rides, enjoys trips to the groomer, and doesn’t mind the vet. She knows how to use a doggie door if you have a safe yard, and she’s fully house-trained. Teeny is happiest with homebodies or retirees, and she needs someone who’s around most of the day. She gets along with other dogs and enjoys playing and sharing toys, but does best in a patient, quiet home without younger kids. She’s dealt with poor socialization in the past but bonds deeply and loyally once she feels safe. Teeny requires daily allergy meds—about $30/month—and needs to stay away from poultry in her food. Her coat grows out and only needs seasonal trims. Ready to meet a playful, loyal little friend who’ll sleep by your side and stick to your routine? Click apply to start the adoption process.

Questions about Teeny
What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?
Teeny, with her terrier/Chihuahua mix background, does well in homes where she gets plenty of companionship, ideally with retirees or people working from home. She thrives in quieter, stable settings without regular chaos from young kids.
How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
Teeny is small, but she enjoys daily walks and access to a secure backyard where she can play. She doesn’t require a huge yard; a safe area to explore and a spot for potty breaks will make her happy.
Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?
Terrier/Chihuahua mixes like Teeny are best with adults and older children. Teeny herself is better suited for families without young kids as she may become overwhelmed by too much activity.
