About Gemma

Click apply to start the adoption process. Say hello to Gemma! Gemma is an approximately three-year-old Chihuahua and Terrier mix with a short, soft, yellow and white coat. Rescued after being spotted as a pregnant stray and humanely trapped, she quickly became the loving mother to six adorable puppies, all of whom have since been adopted. Now it's Gemma's turn to find her forever home! This gentle girl is a true sweetheart who adores cuddles and lap time. She has a perfectly balanced energy level—her favorite days involve playtime in the sunshine, sniffing the yard, or chasing after toys, followed by cozy snuggles with her person. Gemma also gets along well with other dogs and would enjoy meeting yours to see if they're a match. If you are hoping for a loving, loyal, and friendly young dog to become your close companion, Gemma is the perfect choice. She really is a diamond in the ruff! Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
