Meet Cooper, a charming 9-month-old hound, born and raised in our care. With his food-motivated nature and love for social interaction, Cooper is poised to flourish in a new home with a soft-hearted, loving human. His ideal match will be a gentle soul with a nurturing personality, capable of supporting his growth and continuing to encourage his social soul. Cooper! Born on December 30, 2024, he is one of eleven puppies. Cooper is a charming, social, outgoing, energetic, and happy boy. His curiosity often gets the best of him, but he is always joyful and ready for the next adventure. Whether he's out and about or just playing at home, Cooper makes the most of every moment. His natural exuberance and charismatic energy are truly infectious. He is always fun and happy wherever he is. Making everyone around share his joy. Cooper loves walks, car rides, hikes, and exploring trails. He has a mischievous side that drives him to try and experience everything, and he won't give up until he figures it out. With his curious spirit, Cooper is always ready for fun. He is very smart and eager to please, easily motivated by toys, treats, and praise. Cooper is house-trained and crate-trained. He walks well on a leash, especially when paired with a buddy. He would thrive in a home with a playful pup and a secure fenced yard to explore. Cooper is completely house and crate trained and is achieving basic obedience commands as well with recall training. **All Adoptions Include:** - Spay/Neuter procedure - Rabies vaccination (offered with 1 or 3-year options) - Comprehensive core vaccinations, including Leptospirosis and Coronavirus (available for 1 or 3 years) - Negative heartworm test (if of age) - Monthly prevention for heartworm, fleas, and ticks - Negative Lyme disease test - Deworming and negative fecal test - Completion of all necessary testing within the last 6-12 months - All age-appropriate medical needs addressed (blood work, dental check-ups, testing, and medications) - Lifetime microchip registration with free unlimited updates - A recommendation to feed a high-quality protein diet •Veterinary records included **Adoption Processing:** - The review of adoption applications, meet and greet, and citation can take up to three weeks. - A minimum of two meet-and-greet sessions with dogs is required before adoption. - A home check visit may be requested. - Out-of-state adopters are welcome at their own expense. - We DO NOT ship our adoptable pets. - Adoption fees are payable at the time of adoption. - No money exchange or requests are required before adoption. - Payment plans are not available. Travelling to adopters may be possible at the adopter's expense, with a minimum charge of $45 in addition to the adoption fee. **For Former AHRS Adopters:** - A donation of your choice is appreciated, but no formal adoption fee is required; your generosity is valued. Training is an ongoing journey that requires daily attention; new challenges and opportunities for learning arise routinely and should be embraced. Continued training is vital to setting Mina up for lifelong success.
