About Delphina
Delphina is a sweet, shy, and adorable dog in search of her forever home. At about three years old, she weighs around 20 lbs. Delphina arrived at Mostly Mutts after needing a new place to call home. The staff has been providing her with the love she deserves, and now she’s ready to meet her family! This little lady is heartworm positive but will receive treatment soon, so we are looking for someone local to adopt her. She has met other dogs at the shelter and showed curiosity without any aggression; a meet-and-greet with any resident pups is encouraged. While she hasn’t encountered kids yet, it’s best to avoid very young children who might bump her as she adjusts. Delphina is a gentle girl, often shy at first, but she warms up beautifully with patience and love. Her personality shines through once she feels safe, turning into a true cuddle bug with a delightful trot. Delphina is enrolled in the Mostly Mutts University training program, eager to learn new skills. Her crate manners are good, though she’s still mastering house training; her new family can help her with that. While she enjoys cuddles with kind volunteers, she may be nervous when outdoors, especially around cars, so careful supervision during walks is essential. With her vaccinations up to date, she is also spayed and microchipped. Delphina is a sweet soul seeking a gentle, loving family. Her adoption fee is waived, and she’s waiting in Kennesaw, GA. Let’s help her find the loving home she longs for!
