About Lap Cat Mia Maria

Mia was thrown from a car when she was just a kitten, but she hasn’t let that make her timid. She’s about five years old now and holds her own: independent, observant, and never shy about making her preferences clear. Mia has a strong personality and is happiest as the only cat in the home, though she could co-exist with a non-dominant cat. Dogs aren’t really her thing; she’ll ignore them unless they bother her, so she’s best with dogs that leave cats alone. Indoor life suits her well. Food is a surefire way to get her attention, and she’ll come running for mealtime or treats. Toys keep her active and she’ll play when in the mood, but she mostly enjoys perching in a sunny window, quietly watching the outside world go by. Sometimes she’ll join you on the couch, settling in for a lap visit before resuming her solo time. She must go to an adopter who has previous cat experience, a relationship with a local vet, and lives within two hours of Cincinnati—she’s delivered to your home by her foster. Mia’s adoption fee is $65 to cover veterinary costs. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
