About Mary Jane Peanut Butter
Click apply to start the adoption process. Birds of a feather, brothers Bit O’ Honey and Mary Jane Peanut Butter Twist, are often spotted skittering around the shelter together—unless it's time for one of their long midday naps, when you'll find them stretched out and snoozing apart, having outgrown sharing a single cat tree. Though these boys are legendary nap experts, they're even more renowned for being elusive, preferring the safety of shadows during the daytime. When the shelter quiets down for the night, these two truly come alive. The staff gets nightly Eufy camera alerts from their playful nocturnal antics, which explains their daytime sleepiness! Nearly a year old now (with an August birthday, giving them big Leo energy!), Bit O’ Honey and Mary Jane Peanut Butter Twist still need work on their social skills. They'll benefit from an extremely patient and understanding adopter who can gently encourage them to socialize and build trust in their new home. Given the right environment, their wonderful personalities are sure to blossom. These bonded brothers will thrive in a home with other cats to keep them entertained, but they are too anxious around dogs and small children. Both are neutered and current on vaccinations. Due to being from a heavily overbred Manx litter, they're predisposed to some genetic health challenges typical of the breed, and Bit O’ Honey has already shown mild fecal incontinence—which is managed well with daily care. These two are a bonded pair and must be adopted together. Ready to give these special boys the chance they deserve? Adoption is the new adventure! Ready to roll?
