About Chonkers

Chonkers looks like the classic mellow tuxedo, but she’s got a truly bold spirit. After years surviving outside and more than her share of loss, she came in on the cusp of delivering kittens—who, sadly, didn’t make it. She’s an older gal, and a heart murmur delayed her spay, but good medicine and patient care made all the difference. Chonkers takes Atenolol daily (a treat with her Churus) and gets bi-annual heart checkups to keep her in top shape. Most days, she’s glued to her person—lap or nearby, never far. Chonkers is obsessed with head-butts and intense eye contact, loves to chatter at birds, snack, play, and roll in catnip. She can live with respectful children, but not with other cats—she craves a house to herself and absolutely deserves her own spotlight after everything she’s been through. Her forever person should match her quirky, affectionate energy and be prepared for ongoing, routine heart care. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and tested negative for Heartworm, FeLV, and FIV. This Valentine’s cat (born Feb 14!) is finally ready for her own love story. They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply?
