AvailableAbout Little Girl
Little Girl once had a reputation for being feisty—if you wandered too close to her favorite blanket, you risked a swipe. These days, though, she’s transformed. Now she marches right down the hallway, trailing after you and angling for some under-the-chin rubs. She still picks the most high-traffic spots for her naps—in the hallway, curled in a basket, or sprawled on her blanket—or she’ll settle into her rattan egg chair. Her favorite game is rooting out stashed Temptations treats and scarfing them down before anyone notices. Catnip mice, especially the realistic ones, keep her entertained for hours. Since letting her guard down, Little Girl’s softer side stands out: she’s affectionate when the mood strikes, and loves having an attentive person around. She struggles with anxiety, which probably stems from her limited vision and lifelong feline herpesvirus. Her symptoms—runny, sometimes crusty eyes—are part of daily life for her. Be careful cleaning her face; she still gets jumpy and may lash out if handled for too long. Gabapentin helps with her nerves, but she’ll need an adopter comfortable with giving her personal space. She should be the only pet. Little Girl is spayed, current on vaccinations, and has been tested for Heartworm, FIV, and FeLV. She’s ready for a quiet, steady home with someone patient who can let her settle in at her own pace. Little Girl’s birthday makes her an Aries—the sign known for courage and independence, qualities she has in spades. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
