Temperament
Bearded Collies are usually cheerful, affectionate and outgoing, and many greet strangers as friends. They were bred to think independently, so some test boundaries and need patient, reward-based training. Barking and bouncing are common, which matters in closer neighborhoods. A rescue Beardie's own personality counts for more than the breed's reputation.
