While currently in Rochester, MN, she is making excellent progress in her foster home, learning to trust and play with other dogs and children alike. Selma is vaccinated and house trained, and she’s ready for a loving family to call her own.

Selma is an eager and affectionate young girl who was found hiding under a front staircase in Arkansas. After being surrendered, she arrived at her foster home a little timid but quickly started to settle in. Selma loves exploring her new space and has a knack for finding cozy spots to curl up in. Despite her rough start, she's learning to trust humans again, and her playful spirit is emerging. She's great with other dogs and enjoys their company, playing with them without being overly mouthy—she prefers to punch instead of use her mouth! Selma also adores children and is wonderfully gentle around them. Overnight, she has been crate trained and remains calm as long as she has something to chew on. This sweet girl has made incredible strides in her time with her fosters, and they can’t wait to see her continue to grow.
