Meet Clove, one of Mama Ginger’s 10 adorable puppies! This beautiful little girl was born in our care on September 13 and has been surrounded by love and attention since day one! At just 8 weeks old, these puppies currently range from 3 to 6 pounds. Their mama, Ginger, weighs approximately 18 pounds, and while dad is a complete mystery, we suspect these cuties are some combination of Beagle, Chihuahua, and Dachshund, with a little bit of everything mixed in! We estimate they’ll grow to be approximately 13–24 pounds, although adult sizes are never guaranteed. These puppies are everything you’d expect from a fun-loving litter of 10! They’re playful, curious, silly, affectionate, and full of puppy energy. They’ve been well cared for since birth and are now ready to find families committed to helping them become wonderful adult dogs. Like all young puppies, she has absolutely no training yet. Her future family will need to be prepared for potty training, crate training, basic obedience, teething, and all the other adventures that come with raising a puppy. She’ll need consistency, patience, structure, and plenty of positive reinforcement. We’re looking for a home with a house and a securely fenced yard, ideally rather than an apartment. She’ll thrive with a family who has the time and energy to provide daily exercise, enrichment, socialization, and lifelong companionship. In a perfect world, we’d love to see her join a home with another friendly, playful dog who can help show her the ropes! Please remember that she’s still completing her vaccination series over the next six weeks. Until fully protected and cleared by our veterinary team, public outings to high-risk areas such as dog parks, pet stores, and heavily trafficked dog areas should be avoided. Safe, controlled socialization is still very important during this stage. She may be tiny now, but raising a puppy is a big commitment! We’re looking for a family ready to invest the time, training, patience, and love needed to help her thrive.
