Meet Duke the cutest 24 pound Boston terrier mix around. What’s great about him as he has the look of a Boston terrier without the super squishy face. He can breathe, he doesn’t overheat, he has the ability to go for a long walks and he is one sweet boy. This poor guy ended up on the euthanasia list at a local shelter sadly because he was absolutely terrified and shut down. He is still blossoming more each day and is still quite shy and learning. People are good not scary. His perfect home would have a house, a yard and another dog to lead the way. After weeks of decompressing, he’s just now starting to play, which is the first real sign of him feeling safe. He’s super cute and would do best with an experienced owner who has patience. We know he’s going to be such an amazing dog once he totally realizes what it means to be a dog. He’s doing great on house training, he’s very cuddly unsweet he just takes time. Our dogs are in foster homes all over the Bay Area and all adopters are required to travel to the foster home to meet. We do not have a facility. No meet and greet can happen until application is completed.
