Duke is a 24-pound Boston Terrier/Beagle mix with a great face—he’s not overly squishy and you won’t have to worry about breathing issues or overheating. He spent time at a shelter where fear put him on the euthanasia list, but Duke is now safe and learning what it means to relax and trust people. Each day brings progress; he’s shy, but there’s a sweet and playful dog emerging underneath. He loves company and would thrive in a home with a yard, a patient and experienced adopter, and another dog to show him the ropes.
