Meet Hanky, one of our adorable country music icon puppies! This little superstar may have a small body, but he has a HUGE personality and enough charm to steal just about anyone’s heart! At just 8 weeks old, Hanky is one fun, silly, playful puppy who is thriving in foster care. He’s full of curiosity, puppy antics, and endless entertainment. He’s the kind of little guy who will keep you laughing with his goofy personality and adorable expressions! His mama, June, weighs approximately 18 pounds and appears to be a Chiweenie mix, likely with some Beagle mixed in. Dad is a complete mystery! With their adorable markings, floppy ears, and unique little bodies, we suspect there could even be some Jack Russell Terrier in the mix. We estimate Hanky will grow to be around 18 pounds, possibly larger, but his adult size and breed mix are anyone’s guess! Like all puppies his age, Hanky is starting from scratch when it comes to training. He’ll need a family committed to potty training, crate training, basic obedience, socialization, and helping him develop into a confident, well-mannered adult dog. Puppies are a lot of work, and we’re looking for adopters who are ready for the commitment! Hanky’s ideal home will have a house with a securely fenced yard, plenty of opportunities for exercise and playtime, and a family who will make him an active part of their lives. In a perfect world, we’d love to see him join a home with another friendly, playful dog who can help show him the ropes and provide companionship as he grows. He’s currently thriving in foster care, but his forever family will need to continue building on that foundation with patience, consistency, structure, and lots of love. If you’re looking for a tiny entertainer with a big personality, floppy ears, and a lifetime of love to give, Hanky might just be your perfect match! Adoption Fee: $500 This covers neuter, rabies vaccination, DAPP vaccinations, microchip, flea prevention, and deworming.
