He’s one of the smallest in his litter at just eight weeks old and roughly 3 pounds. Bursting with puppy energy and personality, he’s a playful little guy packed into a tiny frame. With mama Indie weighing about 14 pounds and an unknown dad, Red is estimated to grow to somewhere between 8 to 12 pounds. Adorable as he is, it’s important for potential adopters to remember that Red is still a baby. He’s not house trained, leash trained, or crate trained yet, which means raising him will require a full-time commitment. Patience, socialization, and consistent training are essential for his development during this important phase. Currently, Red is completing his puppy vaccine series, so he cannot safely explore outside on shared surfaces just yet. His future home should have a secure and fully enclosed backyard to give him the exercise and freedom he will need. Ideally, another friendly, well-socialized dog would provide him with the right companionship as he learns how to be an excellent canine buddy.
