Parker is the sweetest little 9 year old Yorkie trapped in a body that is failing him and is sadly more of a hospice case at this point. He’s a gentle soul who would probably love an active social life, going on long walks and playing with squeaky toys, but when he goes on car rides or gets too excited or stressed at all he wheezes and coughs like he just smoked a whole pack of cigarettes (which incidentally he definitely shouldn’t be around any chain smoking either as that won’t help things either) due to his severely collapsing trachea. At home when he’s relaxed and calm is fine, and can do a slow trot around a fenced yard without a leash or harness. And he’s really really good at napping in adorable positions. But much more than that he can’t handle. He’s fine with other chill dogs that just want to hang out and nap with him, and a complete sweetheart. He has dry eye and kidney disease as well and is on longterm medications and cough suppressants. He is way too chubby at 9lbs and losing some weight can definitely help his breathing too, and making sure he stays cool and calm and collected.
