About Available for Adoption Benz

Available for Adoption, Benz is a young Pointer who may start off shy, but he warms up quickly and enjoys the company of new people and dogs. In his foster home, he is good with seven other dogs, including his sister. While he possesses a dominant streak initially, it fades as he gets to know the other dogs. Benz is completely housebroken and does well in a crate. He responds to his name and is currently undergoing training to boost his confidence around new encounters. Benz loves to go on 1-2 long walks each day and does well on a leash. He enjoys playing in the yard and prefers being outside when the weather is nice, but he also loves to lounge indoors with his foster mom. A fenced yard is desirable since he's not ideal for dog parks. Affectionate by nature, Benz enjoys hugs and cuddles. He is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, and on heartworm prevention. While he tested negative for Leishmaniasis before coming to the USA, potential adopters will need to commit to annual testing for the next seven years because the parasite can stay dormant. Benz is well on his way to gaining confidence and would make a great companion for a family or individual looking for a loving pet with a sweet temperament. His adoption fee has been significantly reduced thanks to generous donations, making it just $150. Let’s make it official, apply to adopt!
