About Sterling

Sterling is a delightful 10-year-old Chihuahua mix, weighing around 11 pounds. He came to Mostly Mutts from animal control and has spent his time here enjoying the care and attention from the volunteers while he waits for adoption. Initially shy, Sterling has warmed up and recently had a fun playdate with another dog. He interacts well with children, even impressing a group of girl scouts by showcasing his 'sit' command. This friendly fellow has a gentle personality combined with a playful side, making him a wonderful companion. Sterling is currently in Mostly Mutts University, where he has mastered commands like 'come' and 'leave it'. His crate and potty manners have been impressive during his stay, too. He's up to date with vaccinations, microchipped, and neutered, and has just enjoyed a dental cleaning. Although his fur is thinning, regular medicated baths will help him get back to his best. Sterling is ready for a loving home where he can thrive. His adoption fee is waived. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
