About Fito
Fito: The Professional Lounger Some dogs chase adventures, but Fito has his priorities straight. His dreams revolve around cozy spots to sleep, hearty meals, and the warm company of his favorite people. Every day, Fito has his schedule mapped out: - Breakfast - Nap time - Afternoon check on dinner progress - More napping - Evening cuddles with his humans. Fito radiates calmness and affection, believing that life’s best moments come from good food and love. Don't let his impressive ears trick you; he’s just waiting for the sound of his food bowl being filled. Part of Fito’s journey began when he joined a random pack of dogs on a stroll through an arroyo. Unfortunately, shortly after, he faced a battle with parvovirus but, determined, he made a strong recovery. Now, he’s a gentle soul who enjoys human companionship and is overcoming his initial shyness. Fito already knows basic commands like sitting and coming when called. His ideal home is relaxed, where he can enjoy family time and the outdoors at a leisurely pace. Families with children might be a wonderful fit for this affectionate boy. He’s not seeking a marathon runner; he just needs someone who values serenity, understands his need for comfort, and recognizes that a good nap is vital. Fito wants to focus on a happy future filled with love, a soft bed, and a full belly—without any appointments before breakfast. He is currently in foster care in La Paz, Mexico, but will be transported upon adoption or foster placement. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and let's get started.
