About HUGO great wdogs &

Meet HUGO! This endearing little guy is approximately 10 lbs and thought to be around 2 to 3 years old—a perfect companion to fit in your bag. As a chihuahua mix, likely with some terrier, he boasts wide expressive eyes, furry ears, and a charming underbite that only adds to his appeal. Hugo is a sweet, smart, and gentle soul. He's currently in a foster home with dogs and cats, and surprisingly, he's a bit intimidated by the felines. In fact, the cats have been known to chase him! Despite his shyness around new people, once he warms up, he delights in belly rubs and cuddles, proving to be a loyal little shadow. He's affectionate with everyone he meets and should do well with kids given his gentle demeanor. Fully house trained, Hugo signals when he needs to go outside and entertains himself with toys like squeaky or chew ones. He has no resource guarding issues and is comfortable sharing his food. Hugo is also a quiet dog, making him a suitable choice for apartment living. He’s neutered, vaccinated, and ready for his forever home. He can stay alone without issue, and his foster is currently helping him adjust to leash walking. Hugo is in Puerto Rico but will fly to his new home once adopted, making the transition easy and stress-free for you. Feel free to reach out with any questions about this delightful companion.
