Dog's Name: Kandace (KAN1026ALAFD) Estimated Breed: Maltese Approximate Age: 1 year Approximate Weight: 5 lbs Currently Living at: Coming Soon Adoption Fee: $600 DOG'S DESCRIPTION: Meet Kandace – A Tiny Pocket-Sized Princess Looking for Forever Love! Some things come in the tiniest packages, and Kandace is proof that the smallest girls can have the sweetest hearts! This young Maltese gal weighs only 5 pounds, making her just the right size for almost any household. She also gets along well with other dogs, provided they understand that this petite little lady is tiny and needs canine friends who will respect her very small size. A gentle, considerate furry companion could be a lovely addition to her happily-ever-after. Kandace deserves a lifetime of love and security, so why not apply today and make her dream of a loving forever home a reality! Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family. Adoption fees cover basic vetting, spay/neuter surgery (at partner vet if not fixed before adoption), rabies, distemper/parvo vaccinations, treatment for worms, heartworm testing, monthly heartworm prevention and monthly flea/tick prevention (while the animal is in our care), and transport costs from high-kill shelter. Please note that on average, K-9 Lifesavers spend significantly more on each dog than their adoption fee. Adoption fee for HW positive dog also covers heartworm treatment at our partner vets.
