Meet Sprout, a delightful little Maltese, around 5-6 years old and weighing in at about 6 pounds. Rescued from a puppy mill with his brother Cooper, he has a shy demeanor which may cause him to be overlooked by many potential adopters. His shyness stems from fear, but he's learning to thrive in a loving environment. Sprout is a joyful little soul, enjoying playtime in the yard and climbing up to give sweet kisses on your cheek. To help him feel confident and secure, he would thrive in a household that includes another small dog, as he's accustomed to their company. Sprout recently had a full dental procedure, resulting in excellent health despite some teeth being removed. He is neutered and up to date with vaccinations, and he is fully house trained. Sprout is part of our Safe Haven Sanctuary program, which guarantees his safety should he not find a forever home.
