Dog's Name: Baby Bilbo (BIL1026ALAMD) Estimated Breed: Lab / Hound mix Approximate Age: 7 weeks Approximate Weight: 6-7 lbs Currently Living at: Foster Adoption Fee: $500 DOG'S DESCRIPTION: Hi there! I'm Baby Bilbo, and I'm on a very important quest — to find my forever family! I'm part of The Lord of the Rings litter (Gandalf, Aragorn, Bilbo, and Gimli). The four of us found ourselves in a crowded shelter in Alabama, which was a pretty scary place for little puppies like us. Thankfully, some wonderful people at K-9 Lifesavers came to our rescue! Now we're safe and enjoying life in a loving foster home while we wait for our very own happily-ever-afters! As for me, I'm your typical happy-go-lucky puppy! I'm sweet, playful, curious, and full of love! I enjoy having fun, exploring the world around me, and soaking up all the affection I can get. I'm also at the perfect age for training and socialization, so I'm ready to learn all sorts of new things with my future family. With a little patience, guidance, and lots of love, I just know I'll grow into a wonderful lifelong companion! Could you be the family I've been dreaming of? Apply today and let's begin our greatest adventure together! Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family. Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet. Foster Program: Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.
