Dog's Name: Baby Mercedes (MER1026ALAFD) Estimated Breed: Lab mix Approximate Age: 14 weeks Approximate Weight: 10 lbs Currently Living at: Foster Adoption Fee: $500 DOG'S DESCRIPTION: Beep beep! Baby Mercedes here, and I'm ready to race straight into your heart! I'm one of nine adorable puppies from the Car Litter, and let me tell you, we've had quite the journey! We somehow ended up in a crowded shelter in Alabama, which is no place for sweet little puppies like us. Thankfully, the wonderful folks at K-9 Lifesavers came to our rescue, and we've made our way north in search of our forever families! I'm a super sweet puppy who loves other dogs and is always ready for a little fun! I'm also at the perfect age for training and socialization, so you can help me grow into the best four-legged companion ever. All I need is a loving family, a little patience, and plenty of cuddles! Are you ready to put a little extra horsepower into your life? I promise to fill your days with puppy kisses, happy tail wags, silly zoomies, and unconditional love! Don't leave me parked on the sidelines! Apply today and let's ride off into the sunset together! Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family. Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet. Foster Program: Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.
