Kira Juodikis A188511 48 lb. spayed female, approx 1 1/2 years old -She enjoyed exploring the yard and was happy to come over when called. She seems to have a playful side and enjoys getting attention from people. ❤️ -She's very treat motivated and knows "sit." She's still working on "down" and prefers when treats are tossed to her rather than offered directly from your hand. She wasn't interested in toys during our time together, but she enjoyed pets and interacting with me. A sweet girl who seems to enjoy having people around! -Seems non reactive to dogs nearby and may do well living with a fur sibling after slow and proper intros Unknown behavior with dogs/cats/kids *Meet all of our adoptable pets on our website friendsofdacc.org/adopt *Please keep in mind that the shelter can be a very stressful environment. *Studies show that a minimum of 3 days decompression drastically lower stress hormones and allow the dog to show more personality after they have settled in. *There is a suggested donation of $100 for our dogs, payable by cash, check or through paypal at the time of the adoption. *To meet them please go to front door and a DACC staff member will assist you with adoption or fostering. **And when coming to meet one of our dogs, please bring all the humans with you, but leave any current dogs at home. Staff will go over how to slowly and properly introduce them after a decompression period.** *The shelter is open 7 days a week from 10:30-5:30, except for Wednesday when we open at 11:30 **We ask that if you're looking to adopt, you arrive before 5:00 to be able to have enough time to meet the dog. **1431 E Ferry St. Detroit
