Meet Loretta! Loretta is a sweet senior Chihuahua, 15 years old, who deserves a loving home of her own. After her owner moved into a nursing home, Loretta spent the next two years living at a shelter, sleeping in the office at night. Loretta is deaf and was thought to be unadoptable because she had never been outside, wouldn't walk on a leash, and wasn't comfortable with petting. But this little girl is full of surprises! As soon as she arrived at her foster home, she headed straight to the patio door and took herself outside. She allows her foster to pet and carry her, and although she is potty pad trained, she will also potty outside when given the opportunity. She is not comfortable on a leash so she must have a secure fence or just use potty pads inside. Loretta recently visited the vet and desperately needs a dental, which is scheduled for Monday. After everything she has been through, **Loretta deserves to be loved again.** She deserves a soft bed, a safe home, gentle hands, and someone who will cherish her for the rest of her life. Senior dogs have so much love left to give, and Loretta deserves the chance to know what it feels like to truly belong to someone again. A securely fenced yard or a home where potty pads are welcome would be ideal for this little girl. **Special bonus:** Loretta qualifies for Camp Companion's Senior for Senior program, meaning her adoption fee is waived for adopters age 63 and older Apply to adopt at www.campcompanion.org Adoption fee if $450 plus tax if not using the senior for senior discount. Could you be the person who shows Loretta that she is still worthy of love and that her golden years can be filled with happiness?
