About Little Bit
Meet Little Bit, also known as Ramona. She originally came to us from a hoarding case in Arkansas in 2024. Sadly, after being adopted, her previous owner must move out of the country, and now Little Bit is back with us, searching for her forever home. Little Bit is a very special Chihuahua who needs an adopter able to respect her boundaries. She can be cuddly, but only on her terms. She enjoys being petted with one hand but dislikes being approached with both hands. This makes picking her up challenging, and she may bite if she feels scared or trapped. Kennel trained, she loves sleeping in bed with her person. Little Bit is potty trained and uses a doggy door or potty pad effectively. She gets along wonderfully with both dogs and cats. A confident, friendly dog in the home is a must for Little Bit. This companionship boosts her comfort and confidence, helping her feel secure. We seek an adult-only home with Chihuahua experience that understands her quirks, providing the time, patience, and respect she needs to feel safe. A securely fenced yard is required since Little Bit is not comfortable on a leash. Little Bit may not be the right fit for everyone, but for the right home, she will be a sweet companion who loves in her own special way. Ready to meet her? Click apply to start the adoption process.
