About Roxy
Meet Roxy, a sweet and sassy 6-year-old Chihuahua/Dachshund mix looking for her forever home. This little girl is a true lap dog who thrives on companionship and loves being close to her humans. Roxy is now safe with our rescue, having been spayed and ready to be cherished for the lovable personality she is. She came to us through an owner surrender as she couldn't stay in her previous apartment. Roxy enjoys soaking up the sun, grazing in the grass, and receiving all the attention her heart desires. She's kennel trained, knows basic commands, and walks nicely on a leash. While she gets along with other dogs and cats, she often prefers her own space over socializing with furry friends. When meeting new people, Roxy might be a bit vocal and cautious, sometimes growling at strangers until she feels at ease. Itβs important for her new family to be calm and patient, allowing her to approach at her own pace. Once trust is built, her affectionate nature truly shines. Roxy would thrive in a quieter environment without kids, where she can relax and settle in comfortably. If you can provide the understanding and secure home she needs, Roxy will become your devoted little sidekick, eager to curl up beside you or sleep under the covers at night. Could Roxy be your new little shadow? Sheβs ready to start anew with a family that will love her. Adoption fee: $450 plus tax. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
