Written: 9/20/26 Age: 7 years, born August 2019 Weight: 11lbs Breed: Beagle Meet Pretzel! Pretzel does well with dogs, kids, cats, and is ready for her furever home! She is loveable, sweet, food driven, loves attention, attentive, alert, and loves to cuddle! She loves walks, being outside, being your shadow, treats, and did we mention, snuggling? She rarely barks and absolutely loves attention. She does well on a leash and is working on her potty/crate training. She does know her name and will come right to you when she's called! This girl does have a few little quirks, but learning! She will get into food and a trash can if she's able. She also would do best in a yard with a non-chain link fence, once upon a time we were told that she can climb them! If she could talk, she'd say "Be patient with me. I'm working on house training. Patience is a must, but I am oh so sweet and ready to be your person!" She truly just wants to be loved! She is being fostered in Richmond, VA and is up to date on core vaccinations, spayed, has been dewormed, and is on monthly preventatives. Her adoption fee is $375 and covers the cost of core vaccinations, microchip, along with the cost of her care while in foster. We require that all adopters, regardless of the dog’s age, are committed to ongoing training and socialization as part of responsible ownership. To apply to adopt Pretzel, visit www.beaglesandbentleys.org/adopt. Note: Sending a Petfinder inquiry is not submitting an application. We require a completed adoption application to move forward with adoption. Beagles and Bentleys has an across-the-board evaluative process that we apply to every application we review that prioritizes our animals in need. We conduct a vet reference check (all resident dogs must be altered/up to date on dhpp/rabies and monthly preventatives, and cats must be altered and up to date on rabies) and a virtual home visit call where we discuss the adoption process and see your home.
