About Zoey
Zoey is a delightful and affectionate 7-year-old female Beagle currently in care. Having overcome some rough patches, she's now ready to share her love with a caring family. Zoey is housebroken, but she's still honing her crate skills at bedtime. She came to us quite thin and adores her food and treats, making it easy to help her gain some necessary weight. In the car, Zoey settles happily into her car bed, though her leash manners are still a work in progress as she copes with heartworm treatment. Her charming personality shines through when it's time for cuddles, and she won’t hesitate to offer you plenty of loving face kisses. Zoey gets along well with other dogs, especially a fellow Beagle in her foster home, although they often prefer doing their own thing. An important thing to note is that Zoey doesn’t enjoy being left alone. She may bark or cry if she cannot see her people, so a home that keeps her close would be ideal.
