Meet Rosko! ❤️ This big, beautiful 6-year-old boy spent more than two months at a local Utah shelter before getting a fresh start with Arctic Rescue! Rosko was surrendered after his previous family hoped to train him as a therapy dog for children, but it ultimately wasn't the right fit for him. Now he's looking for a home where he can simply enjoy being a loved family dog. Rosko is SUCH a sweet boy! He's been incredibly friendly with everyone he's met, and his foster says he's really started coming out of his shell. He's learning to enjoy affection, and while he doesn't always seem to know how to ask for it, it's clear how much he loves being loved. Rosko is house trained, crate trained, and has done well with other dogs! He's looking for a home without cats or young children, although older, respectful kids may be a good fit. After everything he's been through, Rosko deserves a family who will respect his boundaries, give him time to settle in, and shower him with all the love he deserves. Apply to adopt Rosko at https://arcticrescue.org/adopt. Please note that all Arctic Rescue dogs are marked "Needs Experienced Adopter." Northern breeds often have higher exercise, training, and care needs, so adopters without prior experience are encouraged to research the breed before applying.
