About Gilly

Meet Gilly! This spirited one-and-a-half-year-old American Pitbull Terrier is a joyful blend of goofy charm and gentle sensitivity, all wrapped up in his handsome tan-and-white coat. At 62 pounds, Guillermo, lovingly known as Gilly, is a big puppy at heart who thrives on human companionship. Whether he’s playing with his favorite toys, hopping into the car for an adventure, or enjoying a luxurious bath, Gilly has a knack for making every moment brighter. He even looks forward to his grooming sessions! Gilly is playful and friendly, eager to please. He knows commands like sit, stay, and crate, and he can relax in his crate for short periods. He excels with a consistent routine and would greatly benefit from a patient pet parent dedicated to his training using positive reinforcement. Food is especially exciting for Gilly, so he's learning to feel secure around mealtime. He can be sensitive to loud noises like fireworks and storms, and calm guidance will help him build confidence in those situations. It's important to note that Gilly is reactive toward other dogs and needs to be the only dog in his new home. His compatibility with cats and children is unknown due to limited interaction. A fenced yard would be ideal for him, along with a family willing to learn about his breed. This handsome boy is neutered, microchipped, house-trained, and up to date on vaccinations. He has managed skin allergies well through his diet and is overall a healthy, happy companion. Gilly is ready to bring warmth, laughter, and enthusiasm to your life. With steady support and training, he looks forward to building joyful memories with a caring family. Could this sweet, goofy boy be the one to bring a smile to your face every day?
