About Santana

Meet Santana! This spirited five-year-old American Pitbull Terrier is ready for his next adventure. Residing in Amherst, MA, Santana sports a striking blue fawn coat that complements his joyful demeanor. Weighing in at about 65 pounds, he carries a medium energy level, enjoying playful bursts alongside cozy moments. Santana loves playing with a small rubber tire, darting joyfully in pursuit when it spins through the air. He knows basic commands like sit and stay, and he comes when called. Not one to miss a car ride, he loves to sit beside you. Though crate-trained, Santana can show curiosity around food when left alone, so a structured environment is essential. He thrives best as the only dog, having displayed challenges with male dogs in the past. However, he's loving, gentle, and friendly with people, including children. With proper introductions, he may do well with some female dogs. He needs a family that understands the nuances of owning a strong companion and can provide consistent supervision and training. Santana would appreciate a fenced yard to enjoy safe, active playtime. Currently, Santana is vaccinated and microchipped. He will need a tooth extraction and evaluation of a small mole, which his new family should arrange. As part of the adoption, he will also need to be neutered, for which our team is ready to help with resources. Known for his affectionate nature and ability to sense when someone needs a little extra love, Santana could fill your home with laughter and comfort. Ready to meet this charming boy?
