Canela
AvailableCanela is a large, female Labrador Retriever puppy. She is still very young and adapting to her surroundings, having lots of love and patience will help her grow into a confident companion. Currently in San Diego, CA, she enjoys the company of other dogs and is a gentle and affectionate soul looking for her forever home.
About Canela
Meet Canela! This sweet puppy found herself at the San Jacinto shelter, where her chances seemed slim due to a bony lump on her head, which the vet believes may be a birth defect. Sadly, despite her cuteness, she was red-listed and at risk. Thankfully, a foster family stepped up to help her out. Canela is a gentle soul still adapting to the world around her. Loud noises and fast movements tend to startle her, so she’ll thrive in a patient home that understands her need to build confidence and trust. Currently, she’s living with three large dogs and is doing well. She loves their company and finds joy playing outside, yet often seeks out a cozy corner inside to relax and feel safe. It’s clear that Canela would benefit from another confident dog to guide her through this new life. If you can provide the time and encouragement she needs, Canela is waiting for a loving home where she can truly flourish. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
