About Venus
Click apply to start the adoption process. Venus's journey has been filled with challenges, but she's ready for her fresh start. Originally entering the shelter with a litter of puppies, Venus worked hard to care for her family despite the overwhelming environment. While all her puppies found homes, Venus was left waiting, ultimately running out of time due to shelter overcrowding and being overlooked as an adult black dog. Thankfully, her second chance arrived just in time. Recently rescued and settling in, Venus is showing her sweet and gentle nature. She was an attentive mother, and although she can be a little shy, her affection for people and other dogs shines through. As the rescue gets to know Venus better, they'll continue to update her story. Venus is currently located in Southern California with Labradors and Friends Dog Rescue Group and is looking for a loving foster or forever home. They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!
