About David
Meet David, a sweet, approximately 2-year-old, 20-pound mystery mix of Jack Russell and Terrier. He journeyed from the streets of Bakersfield, California, to the safe haven of the Jason Heigl Foundation in Oakley, Utah. When he arrived with a small group of strays, David was timid and unsure of the world around him. With gentle care and patience, heβs starting to realize that humans can be kind and trustworthy. Neutered and up to date on vaccinations, David is crate trained and ready to find a caring person or a foster family to help him on his journey to a forever home. He thrives in the company of small dogs, enjoys leashed walks, and eagerly accepts treats. David has yet to experience home life, so he will need patient guidance as he learns indoor living and potty habits. While he might not become an instant cuddle bug, the right person can help him emerge from his shell. David's journey wonβt be quick, but for someone understanding and kind, watching him adapt and thrive will be rewarding. He will flourish in a secure environment with careful management. If you believe in second chances and would like to help David build a future filled with love and confidence, he is here waiting for you. David is available for adoption in Utah.
