Meet Winston. Winston is a lovely 1-year-old Jack Russell mix who weighs just 13 pounds. This sweet boy has faced quite a bit of love and loss in his short life. Last year, he was found wandering alone in a parking lot, where a kind 78-year-old woman took him in. She searched for his family, but no one came forward, so Winston became her companion. For a year, he flourished in a loving home until tragedy struck. On August 2, his owner was involved in a serious car accident and can no longer care for him. Now, it’s Winston’s turn to find a new family who will love him as he deserves. Winston is neutered and up-to-date on vaccinations. He is great with other dogs and wonderful with children, but he would prefer a home without cats. This little fellow is full of personality and affection, ready to break into the next chapter of his life.
