About Bowie

Meet Bowie! He's a loving five-and-a-half-year-old German Shepherd/Siberian Husky/Australian Cattle Dog mix currently residing in Castle Rock, CO. His striking tricolor coat complements his gentle nature, making him a devoted companion who enjoys simple pleasures. Weighing 65 pounds, Bowie loves soaking up sunshine, taking leisurely strolls, or peacefully curling up with his favorite stuffed animals. Bowie is a well-trained pup who knows commands like sit, down, shake, and circle. He travels well, enjoys car rides, and is content when left alone, often settling down in a quiet spot until his family returns. This calm dog thrives on routine, and while he is playful and affectionate, he values his space and communicates when he needs it. Though he happily cohabited with a cat for years, he does prefer being the only dog in his new home. He's best suited for a calm, adults-only household with a predictable lifestyle. After addressing some previous leash reactivity with a professional trainer, Bowie has made great strides and is ready for a loving companion who can enjoy peaceful days and cozy evenings together. If you're searching for a faithful friend, Bowie could be the perfect match for you! If you're interested in welcoming Bowie into your home, please email adopt@joyfulpets.com for more information on adoption. Bowie is open to long-distance adoption too, as love knows no bounds!
