About Diesel

Meet Diesel! This spirited almost two-year-old German Shepherd/Boxer mix is currently residing in San Bernardino, CA. Diesel boasts a lively personality that shines through his tan coat and dark muzzle. At around 75 pounds, he embodies playful energy and enthusiasm, always ready to make new friends. Diesel's love for his red bone squeaky toy and tug-of-war games is infectious, and he's equipped with the loyalty and protectiveness typical of a working dog. He approaches life with excitement and can keep an active family entertained and engaged. Friendly with newcomers, Diesel’s enthusiasm can lead to jumping on unfamiliar people and occasional nipping, so he needs an experienced pet parent who can channel that energy positively. He knows “stay” and has so much more potential to learn. With a knack for digging, a secure fenced yard is essential, along with a spot for him to express his creativity. Although he's house trained, he needs consistent supervision and short trips outdoors until he rebuilds his routine. While he does well on short periods alone, longer absences can pose challenges. Loud noises, like fireworks, can also make him uneasy. Diesel interacts well with other dogs but would do best in a home without cats. Fully vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped, he has no known health issues. This active boy is seeking a family with a love for training and adventure. Are you ready to embrace Diesel’s energy and loyal spirit? Every day can be an adventure together!
