Meet Dandy! This lovely 2-year-old Schweenie, a blend of Shih Tzu and Dachshund, is ready for her happily-ever-after. Dandy’s journey hasn't been easy. She’s faced more than her fair share of challenges, having been found as part of a group of neglected pups abandoned deep in the woods. Thankfully, she secured a ride from Texas to Wisconsin and received a much-needed grooming makeover. Now, she’s thriving in her foster home and adjusting well to her new life. Dandy is dog-friendly and enjoys playing with her smaller foster siblings, making a home with similar-sized dogs a great fit. She’s also cat-friendly, and while she can be around kids, older and more respectful children might suit her best. Dandy is still learning about crate time, but she settles quietly once in. She’s making progress with her potty training too, handling her business outdoors quite well when on a schedule. This affectionate girl loves to run and play, but don’t let that fool you—snuggling up for a cozy nap is where she truly shines! Dandy is up to date on vaccinations, spayed, and microchipped.
