About Azalea
Azalea is a delightful, tiny dog who's ready to find her forever home. We rescued this affectionate little girl from California, and at just 6.3 pounds, sheβs perfect for snuggling. Approximately 5 years old, she may be a mix of Yorkshire Terrier and Toy Poodle, showing both breeds' charming traits. Though she can be a bit shy when meeting new people, she warms up quickly and enjoys the company of both men and women alike. Azalea would do best in a home with kids aged 10 and up, given her petite size. She gets along wonderfully with dogs, having previously lived with 13 of them, and prefers a home with smaller canine companions. While we haven't officially tested her with cats, her gentle nature and small size suggest she would likely coexist peacefully with them. She enjoys cuddling and being on laps, walks great on a leash, and has shown promise in her potty habits, having only one accident during her first week in foster care. Azalea boasts a medium energy levelβplayful, yet content to relax when the time comes. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and current on all preventative care. Azalea's adoption fee includes a free wellness exam at our partner vet clinics. This charming girl is fostered in Beavercreek, OR, and she's eagerly waiting for her new family to love her.
