About Lyra

Lyra is a lively two-year-old Lab mix, full of personality and a striking black coat. Weighing around 76 pounds, she brings a joyful energy that can brighten any day. This spirited girl thrives on activity, so regular exercise and training will help her learn good manners and settle into a family routine. Currently, she's being treated for Ehrlichia, a tick-borne disease, but she’s already spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations. Lyra walks fairly well on a leash, and with consistent outings, she’s learning to keep her kennel clean. Since she came to us as a stray, we’re still discovering the best fit for her home. She would thrive in a household where she is the only pet, as she does not get along with cats and can be reactive to dogs. Lyra needs a home that can provide structure, patience, and understanding. With the right commitment, this affectionate girl will surely blossom into a loving companion. Click apply to start the adoption process.
