About Redwood
Redwood is a male puppy born on September 8th, among a litter of nine at the shelter. His mother, Lenore, is likely a hound mix, but the father remains unknown – some puppies in the litter might have traits of a lab or golden retriever. Expect Redwood to grow into a large dog. He's set for adoption around mid-November after receiving his vaccinations, and his vet care includes all necessary shots and neuter surgery, which will be managed with one of our vet partners as part of his adoption. The fee for adoption is $150, covering these essential services. Like all puppies, Redwood demands time, patience, and training. He thrives in a secure and loving home ready to commit to him for life. His social nature means he should get along well with other dogs and even learn how to interact safely with cats. Given his young age, he may not yet have the best manners for very young children, so a bit of understanding and guidance will go a long way. Redwood isn't suited for a home where he would be left alone for long hours. To adopt Redwood, an application must be completed online, followed by a private appointment if approved. For more information, visit our website. You can find us in Austin, MN, right next to the airport.
